We aim to bring all levels of Lindy hoppers from all corners of the Australia (even international)  together for some unforgettable good times in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Sharon Hanley is the producer and visionary of the GC Lindy Fest.  

Sharon has a long history of running annual Lindy Hop and Balboa events with international teachers in Sydney since 2001.  She is one of the most expericend event organisers in Australia and was the founder of the Sydney Lindy Exchange, ASDC, Sydney Balboa weekend Sydhey Lindy Weekends and Jazz Bang with Sam Carroll.  Since relocating to the Gold Coast she decided this was the perfect location for a top quality national event

She also has many years of experience teaching classes, DJing, performing, competing, running competitions and social dancing.  And is the owner of  Swingtime Dance School since 2000 operating it together with her talented team of teachers. 

Sharon together but a team of  local  and interstate managers and volunteers will be working together to bring a top quality event!
