When drummer Andrew Dickeson (Sydney) and bassist/vocalist Nicki Parrott (Northern NSW) join forces, you can expect an unforgettable night of swinging jazz. With a musical partnership and friendship spanning more than 40 years, Andrew and Nicki are the ultimate rhythm section—bringing exceptional musicianship, energy, and joy to every performance.
Andrew is one of Australia's most respected jazz drummers and has built an impressive international reputation. As the leader of the Blue Rhythm Band, he has become a favourite among swing dancers for his infectious groove and danceable sound.
Nicki has spent decades as one of New York City's first-call jazz bassists and is also a captivating vocalist. Her performances have taken her around the world, earning her a reputation as one of Australia's finest jazz exports.
Joining them will be the outstanding Peter Locke (Sydney)on piano and Todd Hardy (Sydney) on trumpet, completing a stellar quartet of world-class musicians.
Expect a night filled with classic swing tunes, timeless jazz standards, and irresistible rhythms that will keep the dance floor packed from the first song to the last.

Naomi Uyama is an internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist, bandleader and Lindy Hop champion. As the founder and frontwoman of Naomi & Her Handsome Devils, she has become one of the most recognisable voices on the global swing dance scene. With her warm, authentic vocal style and deep understanding of what dancers love, Naomi and her band have performed at major festivals around the world, delighting audiences from Paris to Seoul with music that is both timeless and irresistibly danceable. We're thrilled to welcome Naomi as the special guest vocalist with Andrew Dickeson's Blue Rhythm Band for an unforgettable Sunday night.
